Non-Union Support Saff employees are considered to be on probationary status for a 60-calendar-day period beginning with the date of employment. During the probationary period, either the employee or the department may terminate employment without notice, and the employee is not entitled to use grievance procedures. Timely completion of the probationary performance evaluation form is thus a very important activity for the hiring department.
