	Managing Visitors, Trainees and Volunteers Key Actions: Inform visitors they are subject to University policies and procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local law Ensure visitors' activities are conducted in a safe, professional, and responsible manner Do not allow them to perform work that would otherwise be performed by a University employee Follow the special provisions that apply to minors (under the age of 18) who perform research-related activities in University laboratories Maintain a file of appropriate forms for each individual, as outlined in the visitor guidelines
